Deepak Singh, Vice President, AWS

Deepak Singh is a Vice President at Amazon Web Services, where he leads the Containers and Serverless businesses. During his time there he has also owned the Amazon Linux organization and the Open Source Program Office. Prior to starting the containers organization Deepak headed up product management for Amazon EC2 instances.

Prior to joining AWS in 2008, Deepak spent several years as a scientist and product manager at companies focused on developing algorithms and software for drug discovery and materials design. Deepak has a PhD in theoretical chemistry from Syracuse University and has served on the scientific advisory boards of GenomeSpace and Ensembl.
