AWS Summit Hong Kong FAQs

AWS Summit Hong Kong is ideal for IT and business executives, business and technical decision makers, developers, engineers, system administrators, and systems architects. Session content will accommodate all levels of familiarity, from beginner (level 100) to expert (level 400). Attendees can choose between lecture-style presentations, interactive learning guided by AWS experts, customer keynotes, whiteboarding sessions, the expo floor, and much more.

AWS Summit Hong Kong 2026 will be held on June 17, 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), located in Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
Check-in begins at 7:30 AM, with the Opening Keynote starting at 9:30 AM.

No, registration is complimentary and enables access to the keynote, all sessions and the expo floor.

AWS does not reimburse or validate parking or other travel-associated costs.

There is no dress code for attendees. Attendee attire varies from business casual and suits to hooded sweatshirts and jeans. Please wear what you are comfortable in.

All attendees must be at least 18 years of age on the day they pick up their conference badge.

Click on the "Register Now" button above to start the registration process. Space is limited, so reserve your free seat today. Upon submission of your information, you will receive a confirmation email. One week prior to the event, you will receive a QR code for check-in. This email will be sent from no-reply@awsevents.com and may take several minutes to arrive depending on your email's individual security settings.

AWS Summit Hong Kong registration gives you access to the keynote, breakout sessions, and expo.

To check in and collect your event badge, bring your QR code (sent via email one week before the event). Our staff may check your business card, or government-issued photo ID if needed. A reminder will be sent closer to the event. AWS reserves the final right of admitting attendees to AWS Summit Hong Kong.

Onsite at AWS Summit Hong Kong, sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-seated basis. As seats are not guaranteed, there is no need to pre-register.

Onsite check-in starts at 7:30AM on June 17, 2026. All attendees are encouraged to check in before 9:00AM to avoid peak hour crowds. Please allow time to get to the event venue as the area may be very congested.

Onsite at AWS Summit Hong Kong, sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-seated basis. We recommend you use the AWS Events mobile app to help organize your day, and allow plenty of time to navigate between rooms. Download the mobile app for Android or iOS. A link to the app will be provided closer to the event date - keep an eye on your emails for updates.
For the keynote, it will be filled on a first-come, first-seated basis. If you can't get a seat in the auditorium, the keynote will be streamed in a separate room. Follow signage at the venue, and hosts will be on hand to direct you.

If you are taking part in a workshop, please remember to bring your laptop, charger, and any external devices you may require. Please note, you must bring a laptop and not a tablet, with WiFi networking (not wired networking). If you're using a corporate laptop, please ensure that it can connect via WiFi and doesn't require wired networking.

The AWS Events app will be available to download two weeks before the event and will allow you to view all sessions taking place, access floorplans, manage your calendar for the day of the event, and more. More details will be shared with registered attendees closer to the event.

If you offer to have your badge scanned by a sponsor or at a sponsor-branded session, you are requesting AWS share your name, email address, country, title, and company with that sponsor so it may contact you by email for marketing purposes.
