AWS F1 Sweepstakes for the London Summit Promotion (the “Sweepstakes”) Terms & Conditions

 

NO PURCHASE OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER, WIN, OR CLAIM A PRIZE. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. RESTRICTIONS APPLY.

1. On 22 April 2026, enter the Prize Draw (“Sweepstakes”) for a chance to win a Premium F1 Package for two to Silverstone, an Amazon Voucher up to £500, or an F1 Lego F1 Large Car.

2. Entry Instructions: To enter, register for the AWS Summit at the Excel London (the “Summit”) (https://aws.amazon.com/events/summits/london/), then check in and attend the Summit on Wednesday 22 April 2026 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Registered attendees of the Summit will be automatically entered into Sweepstakes upon check-in. Only those who have registered for, and physically attend, the Summit will be entered into the Sweepstakes.

3. Limit one entry per person. Limit one prize per person.

4. Exclusions:

    a. This Sweepstakes is only open to residents of the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland aged 18 or over.

    b. Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) (the “Promoter”), employees of AWS and their immediate family members and members of their households are not eligible to participate.

    c. PromoVeritas Inc (the “Administrator”), its other agents and anyone professionally associated with this Sweepstakes are not eligible to participate.

    d. The following are also excluded from entering:

            i. an officer or employee of a government agency or department (regardless of actual rank or position), including central or federal, state, or local (and their family members);

            ii. any person acting in an official capacity for a government agency (central or federal, state, or local);

            iii. an employee of a state-owned business, enterprise, or institution (e.g., hospitals, media outlets, utilities, transportation providers, telecommunication  providers, banks, newspapers, and schools, to name a few);

            iv. a member of a royal family;

            v. a member of a legislative or judicial body;

            vi. a political party official or candidate for political office; and

            vii. an employee of a public international organization (e.g., United Nations, Red Cross, etc.).

5. By entering into the Sweepstakes, you confirm that your participation in the Sweepstakes, nor receipt of a Prize from the Promoter or its affiliates:
        a. will not create a conflict of interest for AWS or its affiliates; and will not conflict with the Promoter or its affiliates participating in on-going competitive procurements or considerations.

6. By permitting you to enter into the Sweepstakes, neither the Promoter, nor its affiliates have any expectation of favourable or otherwise beneficial treatment, and permitting you to enter is not intended to reward or influence any business activity or competitive bid and is permitted independently of any past, current or prospective commercial transaction.

7. The Draw Time & Prizes: 151 entries will be randomly drawn on 29 April 2026 (the “Draw Time”) by PromoVeritas (the independent Sweepstakes verification service). Participants with eligible entries drawn at the Draw Time are winners and will each receive a prize. There are four (4) types of prizes (collectively, the “Prizes”) and Prizes will be randomly allocated to winners. Chances of winning depends on the number of eligible entries. The Prizes and the number of winners to receive each Prize is outlined below.

a. Entries that do not meet the requirements set forth in these Terms and Conditions may be disqualified in AWS’s sole discretion. Approximate retail value of each prize is as follows: £14,569.60 (Premium F1 Package for two); £500 (500 Amazon Voucher); £150 Lego F1 Large Car; and £50 (£50 Amazon Voucher). AWS reserves the right to substitute a Prize (or portion thereof) for an item of comparable or greater value, at AWS’s sole discretion.

 

8. Further Prize Details:

a. Premium F1 Package for two to Silverstone

i. The F1 Package is valid for the FORMULA 1 PIRELLI BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2026 from 2-5 July 2026.

ii. The F1 Experience® lounge tickets are valid for the Silverstone race only and include the following:
1. premium trackside views and all-day hospitality
2. canapes, lite bites and specially curated lunch dishes
3. open bar serving a variety of drinks, and soft drinks, and
4. TV screens with live track feed.

iii. The Prize includes return business class flights or 1st class rail travel from the winner’s home in the UK and Ireland to Silverstone, including transfers.

iv. The Prize includes accommodation at a minimum 4-star hotel (based on classification designated by the hotel) near Silverstone, based on the winner and the guest sharing one double/twin room, subject to availability.

v. The Prize includes £150 per day spending money for 3 days.
vi. Race dates are subject to the change at the discretion of Formula 1® and The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile. The potential winner will not be entitled to any compensation and will have no claim against the Promoter, organiser or Formula 1® if the race associated with their Prize or any other element forming part of the Prize is delayed, postponed, rescheduled or cancelled (for any reason whatsoever).

vii. The guest of the winner must be 18 years of age or older at the time of travel.

viii. For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize does not include food, beverages, souvenirs, gratuities, excess baggage, additional excursions and attractions or any other costs of a personal nature that are not explicitly set out in these Terms & Conditions and neither the Promoter nor any provider of any part of the Prize will be responsible for any such costs.

ix. If a booking is missed or cancelled by the winner, no alternative tickets will be issued and for the avoidance of doubt, no compensation and/or refund will be provided.

x. Any representative of any hotel, airline, venue, used within the travel itinerary has the right to remove or to deny entry to the winner and/or his/her guest who engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, be intoxicated, be a safety risk, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at any event.

xi. In the event that any portion of the trip or schedule activities has to be cancelled for any reason whatsoever, in whole or in part, including but not limited to cancellations, postponements, an event of force majeure, an “act of God” (e.g., natural disasters, weather, etc.) or an unforeseeable health event (e.g. pandemic or epidemic), or for any other reason, then Promoter reserves the right to provide a substitute Prize element of equal or greater value, and no other or additional compensation will be awarded.

xii. The winner must inform the Promoter of any wheelchair or any similar access needs.

xiii. The Promoter will only pay the cost of the standard room plus related room taxes.

xiv. A valid credit or debit card will be required to check in to the hotel and will be used to guarantee any incidentals such, but not limited to, as in- room calls or services.

xv. The winner is solely responsible for any additional charges incurred at the hotel during their stay, including, without limitation, costs of meals, drinks, additional nights and services together with related taxes.

xvi. The Prize will be arranged by email between the Promoter’s Prize fulfilment agency and the winner. The Administrator will make all reasonable efforts to provide the winner with details of the Prize at the earliest possible opportunity. The Promoter will have final discretion on all elements and aspects of how the Prize is organised. Once the Prize details including dates, locations are confirmed, this cannot be amended or altered by the winner.

xvii. Once tickets have been issued, they are only valid for the flights/travel, dates and times shown. No alternatives are available. Name changes to the flight once confirmed are not permitted.

xviii. The winner and guest must travel together in all instances and on the same itinerary, on the same dates and time, take the same trip and share the same room in all provided accommodation.

xix. The winner and their guest must abide by and are subject to the airline’s published conditions of carriage.

xx. Lounge passes and upgrades are not permitted. Flights cannot be used in conjunction with the Promoter’s/any loyalty programme, any other discount, discount coupon(s) or voucher(s), Prize draw(s) or special offer. Frequent flyer points cannot be accrued on the flight tickets or any loyalty programme.

xxi. It will be the winner’s and their guest’s responsibility to obtain at their own cost all relevant insurance (including but not limited to health and travel insurance, insurance for theft, loss and damage to property) which may be required or prudent to be taken.

xxii. All elements of the Prize package must be taken as part of the same trip.

xxiii. Once tickets have been issued, the Promoter, will not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations caused by (but not limited to) weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, illness of a performer or any other circumstances beyond the control of the Promoter.

xxiv. The winner will receive the spending money via bank transfer. The winner must have a valid bank account for their country of residence. Winner is responsible for providing correct bank account details and the Promoter will not be liable for any Prize payments made into the wrong bank account.

xxv. The winner and their guest will require a passport valid for at least 6 months on date of travel; any necessary visas or travel insurance are the responsibility of the winner and their guest. In the event the winner or their guest is unable to travel due to visa or other personal circumstances, no alternative tickets will be issued, and no compensation or other Prize will be provided.

xxvi. No component of the Prize may be transferred or sold unless Promoter, in its sole discretion, gives prior written permission.

xxvii. The prize will be forfeited if:
    1. the winner is not available to travel on dates specified by     Promoter once the Prize has been booked.
    2. the winner has not obtained all of the proper travel     documents by the date specified by the Promoter;
    3. the winner has any complications which prevent them     from entering or leaving their country of residence or the     country they are traveling to; or
    4. the winner has any medical, legal or any other reason     that would prevent you from accepting and participating in     the Prize.

xxviii. It is the responsibility of the winner and any guest to check any travel advisories issued by the relevant government of the destination, to determine whether they wish to accept the risk of travelling to the destination. The Promoter will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any winner or their guest arising out of their failure to follow any travel advisories issued by the relevant government. The winner and their guest must comply with and are responsible for obtaining all information regarding any recommended inoculation and obtaining the inoculation(s) and health regulations required by the destination of the Grand Prix.

b. Amazon Voucher

    i. Amazon Gift Cards are valid for a period of 10 years from date of issue.

c. F1 Lego Car      

    i. Winners will have a choice of the following cars: Choice of McLaren MCL39 F1® Car, Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance, Oracle Red Bull Racing RB20 F1 Car or Ferrari SF-24 F1 Car.

    ii. Winners will receive their chosen Lego car via post.

9. Winner Notification: Eligible entrants selected as a potential winner will be contacted via the email address provided on entry, within 7 working days of the Draw Time and may be asked to provide evidence of identity and eligibility. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the potential winner. Failure to respond to communications about the Sweepstakes within a reasonable period of time, as determined by AWS and Promo Veritas, in their sole discretion, may result in the forfeiture of the prize. Once eligibility has been confirmed, a potential winner will be confirmed as a winner. If the potential winner does not respond to the initial contact within 14 days, we reserve the right to disqualify that entrant and award the prize to a reserve selected in the same manner. A reserve winner may have less time to respond.

10. Prize Acceptance: Notification to arrange fulfilment of the prize will take place within 28 days of acceptance of the prize. In the unlikely event that a winner has not received communication to arrange their prize within this timeframe the winner must inform the Promoter by emailing AWSLondon@PromoWinners.com within a further 28 days. If the winner does not do so, the Promoter reserves the right to not reissue the prize at its sole discretion.

11. Provided no objection is received from the winner, a winner list containing the surname and county of residence of the winner will be made available by the Promoter four (4) weeks after the close of the Sweepstakes Period, for a period of eight (8) weeks. It will be available by emailing a request to AWSLondon@PromoWinners.com. Winners can object to their details being published during the Winner Notification process. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority when requested by them.

12. The Promoter may request that the winner participates in publicity arising from the Sweepstakes. Participation is at the winner’s discretion and is not a condition of Prize Acceptance.

13. The Promoter seeks to run a fair and secure Sweepstakes and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your entry (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified. Any Prize awarded may be void and recoverable, and the Promoter reserves the right to bar you from entering future Sweepstakes for a period of at least six (6) months. For this reason, the Promoter reserves the right at any point to:

    a. Verify the eligibility of entrants and/or the provisional winner through multiple means by requesting such information it consider reasonably necessary for this purpose. Entry into the Sweepstakes, or provision of Prizes, may be withheld until verification is completed.

    b. Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Sweepstakes.

    c. Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.

    d. Disqualify bulk entries from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties, incomplete entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means.

    e. Disqualify entries beyond the maximum allowed, or those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.

    f. Disqualify entrants who tamper with the entry process.

    g. Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not meet the requirements of these Terms & Conditions.

    h. Cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes should it not be capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes.

14. Entrants must complete their details using their full legal name. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who uses multiple names or email addresses and to require them to return any Prize they may have won.

15. The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason the Prize or any element of the Prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute that Prize or element of the Prize for another of equal or greater value.

16. No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous or secure access to https://aws.amazon.com/events/summits/london/.

17. Insofar as permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Sweepstakes (PV 20229) or accepting or using the/a Prize(s), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

18. The Promoter will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances.

19. All personal data supplied for this Sweepstakes will be used for the purpose of this Sweepstakes and for research and analytical purposes by the Promoter and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Sweepstakes. Personal data will not be disclosed to an unconnected third party unless your positive consent has been obtained. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, available at: https://aws.amazon.com/privacy/

20. If any part/s of these Terms & Conditions are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.

21. By entering, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

22. If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and the Priority Prize Draw Terms & Conditions, these Terms & Conditions will prevail. If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and those in any Sweepstakes material, these Terms & Conditions will prevail.

23. The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, Formula 1® and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, members, representatives, and employees (collectively, the “Entities”) will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes or any Prize awarded and have not offered or sponsored this Sweepstakes in any way.

24. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law, and their interpretation and application will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Residents of Scotland and Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their own jurisdiction.
