Seattle started out as a logging town, came of age during the aeronautics boom and is one of the nation’s major technology hubs today. We also call it home.
AWS’s corporate offices are in Seattle’s vibrant South Lake Union and Denny Triangle neighborhoods, where biomedical and tech companies are stationed among great restaurants, waterways and sometimes, even glistening blue skies. We believe there’s something energizing about city-hustle, so we built our headquarters where we knew we could be part of the neighborhood; where we could support local restaurants, coffee shops and Seattle’s great food truck scene, shop at the farmers market and take in the lakefront, all within steps of our desks. Sequestered suburban campuses are fine, but we’re inspired by the fast pace of our urban campus neighborhood and all the great opportunities this kind of an environment provides.
Seattle’s also a great place for weekend explorers and we don’t let a little drizzle get in our way. With easy access to beaches and mountains, parks that are green all year round, wineries, sports teams and just about every kind of outdoor activity you can imagine, it’s a great place to live for people who like to experience a wide variety of activities.
We’re currently growing our teams and hiring for a wide variety of technical and business roles.
