The VMware Cloud on AWS Partner Initiative offers new capabilities to accelerate and simplify enterprise cloud migration and hybrid cloud deployments. This program enables AWS Consulting Partners to be successful in selling hybrid cloud solutions based on VMware Cloud on AWS.
VMware Cloud on AWS is the preferred service for all vSphere-based workloads and provides organizations with interoperable infrastructure and services between VMware-based datacenters and the AWS cloud, which minimizes the complexity and associated risks of managing diverse environments. VMware Cloud on AWS offers native access to AWS services and innovation that extends the value of enterprise applications over their lifecycle.

Designed to augment the Partner Program offerings from VMware, this initiative provides additional enablement and incentives to aid Partners in developing a breadth of expertise in selling and supporting VMware Cloud on AWS solutions.

Getting Started
- Step 1: Attain AWS Advanced Tier Consulting Partner status

New Partners - Register
- AWS Consulting Partner Registration: Register your firm at no cost via the AWS Consulting Partner Registration
- Log in to AWS Partner Central: Once registered, your firm will receive an email with your AWS Partner Central login credentials and temporary password. Using those credentials, log in to AWS Partner Central.
- Add AWS Partner Central Users: To add AWS Partner Central users from your firm, send link to activate their logins
- Update Partner Scorecard: Track your firm’s AWS success (customer wins, training, etc.) via your Partner Scorecard in AWS Partner Central.
- Upgrade to Advanced Tier: You must meet the requirements for Advanced Tier listed on this page.
Existing Partners - Login
Upgrade your APN Membership: Once your firm meets APN's Advanced tier requirements, apply to upgrade to receive additional APN benefits. AWS Partners interested in upgrading their APN member can submit their application by following the steps below:
- Step #1: Log in to AWS Partner Central
- Step #2: Click on "View Partner Scorecard" from left navigation
- Step #3: Submit APN compliance details
- Step #4: Click "Apply to Upgrade"
