Sesc Digital optimizes 75% of cloud migration time with AWS Professional Services
Sesc Digital is an online platform created to transpose the actions of Sesc São Paulo to the digital environment, expanding the reach of its cultural practices and strengthening its commitment to a participatory, continuous and inclusive educational process.
Overview
With all physical Sesc units closed due to social distancing policies, the institution had to adapt quickly to scale its service to the virtual environment through Sesc Digital. And to support this exponentially growing demand, the entity chose the AWS cloud to host its platform, which was in its own data center.
To accelerate the cloud migration process in an assertive manner, Sesc Digital hired AWS Professional Services, which, in addition to bringing more quality and security to the project, reduced the migration time from 1 year to just 3 months of execution.
The platform has already had more than three million visits since its launch in April 2020, and has been an essential tool to serve Brazilian society during the pandemic period.
