The AWS Summit event will take place in our nation’s capital, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.  

The Westin Ottawa is located at the Ottawa River's edge next to Parliament Hill and adjacent to the University of Ottawa campus in downtown Ottawa.

Q: Will the content be delivered in English or in French?
All content at the AWS Public Sector Summit in Ottawa will be delivered in English. Please visit our new French website to access resources in French.

Q: What is the price of registration?
Event registration is complimentary.

Q: Who should attend the AWS Public Sector Summit in Ottawa?
Executives, technical leaders, IT professionals, and developers across the public sector who want to learn more about AWS in Canada are encouraged to attend. The agenda includes a breadth of topics and is designed to help audiences across industries and job roles.

Whether you are new to the cloud or an experienced user, you will learn something new at an AWS Summit. These events, held around the world, are designed to educate new and prospective cloud users about AWS solutions, and offer existing customers deep technical content to be more successful with AWS.

All AWS Summits feature a keynote address that highlights the latest announcements and customer testimonials, technical sessions led by AWS engineers, and hands-on technical training sessions. The events offer best practices for deploying applications on AWS, optimizing performance, monitoring cloud resources, managing security, cutting costs, and more. You will also have opportunities to meet AWS staff and partners to get your technical questions answered.

Q: What is included in the event registration?
Summit registration gives you complimentary access to the keynote, breakout sessions, and the Expo Hall, as well as breakfast, lunch, and a networking reception.

Q: Where is the conference agenda?
We are currently putting the finishing touches on a robust lineup of AWS experts and customer speakers. The detailed agenda will be posted shortly.

Q: Will I need to register for each breakout session?
General Summit registration for the Summit offers access to all sessions and activities during the AWS Summit. As registration does not guarantee a seat to a specific session or track, sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-seated basis.  Please arrive early to secure your seat.  

Q: Are you streaming the keynotes or any sessions?
We will not offer streaming of the keynote or breakout sessions at the AWS Summit in Ottawa.

Q: Will the slides be shared after the event?
The slides, keynote videos, and content will be available after the Summit. A separate email containing these links will be sent to attendees in the weeks following the event.

Q: What accessibility accommodations are available?
The AWS Public Sector Summit in Ottawa venue has been designed to make everyone’s visit as productive and comfortable as possible.
