The AWS Public Sector Summit - Washington DC is a great opportunity to get hands-on training with AWS! This year, in addition to technical and non-technical topics, we’re offering AWS Certification Exam Readiness Bootcamps, which help you prepare for an AWS Certification exam. These bootcamps will go over the structure of an exam and help you interpret the concepts being tested so you can better eliminate incorrect exam responses.

Bootcamps are delivered by experienced AWS instructors and solution architects, and are offered on Tuesday, June 19 (the day before the summit), either half a day (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM) or a full day (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM). All students taking a bootcamp must bring their own laptop (no tablets). Laptops must have a dual-core processor with 4GB of RAM and wireless internet access. We also recommend having the current version of Chrome or Firefox installed. All bootcamp sessions must be reserved in advance.

This half-day, advanced-level bootcamp teaches you how to design and build a serverless conversational bot that can dynamically learn about changes in a product catalog. When a customer asks for information about or wants to purchase a newly released product, this bot can already be trained to better understand what your customer is asking, so you don’t need to manually configure and rebuild it.

This bootcamp covers the Amazon Lex programming model and how to use AWS Lambda with Amazon DynamoDB Streams to perform event-driven changes.
