Updated Validation Checklists for AWS Specialization Programs

As we continue to transform the AWS Partner experience, we’re excited to share updates to the Validation Checklists (VCL) for AWS Specialization Programs (AWS Competency, Managed Service Provider, Service Delivery, and Service Ready). Effective January 1, 2024, the updates drive efficiencies during onboarding, allowing partners to achieve an AWS Specialization faster and making it easier to utilize benefits.

Amazon Linux Ready Program Updated to Include the Next-Generation Amazon Linux Operating System

The updated Amazon Linux Ready Program will now validate AWS Partner software products that run on Amazon Linux 2 as well as the next-generation Amazon Linux 2022. Amazon Linux 2 Partner software products have been technically validated by AWS, and with this program update AWS customers will be able find validated ISV products on Amazon Linux 2, Amazon Linux 2022, or both, with the confidence that these applications have been vetted through a robust technical review by AWS.

Amazon RDS Ready Program Expands to Include Partner Business Application Product Category

With the new Amazon RDS Ready for Business Applications category, part of the AWS Service Ready Program, customers can now find business application products that follow AWS security, availability, reliability, performance, and other architecture best practices while integrating with Amazon RDS. Amazon RDS Ready business applications are deployed within a customer’s account or provided as SaaS deployed in AWS Partners’ accounts. Learn more about Amazon RDS Ready Ready Partners!

Team Up with AWS Partners Validated by Database Engine Type Through the Amazon RDS Service Delivery Program

Amazon RDS customers are looking for AWS Partners with specific database engine expertise to set up, operate, and scale relational databases in the cloud. To meet this need, we are relaunching the Amazon RDS Service Delivery Program, which now validates AWS Partners by database engine type. This allows customers to identify an Amazon RDS Partner that best meets their database engine-specific migration and implementation needs.
