The AWS Generative AI Innovation Center is excited to announce the launch of Partner Innovation Alliance (PIA) Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Pods, a new strategic program designed to accelerate the development and deployment of enterprise-grade generative AI solutions. This initiative brings together ISVs, AWS expertise, and our Partner Innovation Alliance (PIA) to create powerful, scalable generative AI capabilities that address critical business challenges.
Building on Success, Driving Innovation
Since its launch in 2023, the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center has guided thousands of customers across industries in their generative AI journey, driving productivity gains and transforming customer experiences. The Generative AI Innovation Center has helped customers move from AI experimentation to full-scale deployment, leveraging Amazon’s decades of AI leadership and extensive real-world deployment experience.
Now, as AI evolves toward more autonomous, agentic systems, we’re taking the next step in empowering our partners to pioneer this next wave of AI innovation through the Partner Innovation Alliance ISV Pods program. The initiative pairs ISVs’ product and industry knowledge with PIA partners’ technical expertise and implementation experience, creating force-multiplier teams that can rapidly develop and deploy sophisticated agentic solutions.
Addressing Market Demand
The PIA ISV Pods program addresses the growing demand for both industry-specific vertical generative AI solutions and horizontal domain-agnostic capabilities that solve complex business challenges. ISVs are positioned to deliver these specialized applications at scale, as they combine their deep domain expertise, existing customer relationships, and battle-tested platforms with the ability to embed generative AI capabilities into solutions that already serve critical business processes. By creating structured pathways for ISVs to innovate on AWS, the program enables faster development and deployment of enterprise-grade AI solutions while streamlining the path from build to launch. This approach aligns with our leadership principle of thinking big and delivering results for our partners and customers.
Program Structure and Support
Each innovation pod pairs an ISV with an aligned PIA partner and Generative AI Innovation Center resources. The pilot will establish innovation pods, selecting a mix of established ISVs and innovative startups to develop enterprise-grade GenAI solutions. Pods receive comprehensive support, including:
- Structured Enablement Programs: Covering both product development and customer implementation, these programs provide ISVs with the knowledge and skills needed to build and deploy effective generative AI solutions.
- Technical Advisors and Business Strategists: each ISV is assigned both a technical advisor and a business strategist, ensuring they have expert guidance throughout their development journey.
- Joint Go-to-Market Initiatives: AWS will work with ISVs on co-branding and market push-pull strategies to drive customer adoption of their generative AI solutions.
Focus on Agentic AI
A core focus of the program is developing sophisticated agentic AI capabilities – autonomous, goal-oriented AI agents that can leverage ISV products to tackle complex business challenges. By focusing on agentic AI, we’re helping our partners stay at the forefront of AI innovation, creating solutions that operate and adapt to changing conditions—addressing the growing need for intelligent automation across various industries.
Announcing the Launch ISV Pods
We are thrilled to announce the initial set of PIA ISV pods that will pioneer this innovative program. These partnerships represent a diverse range of industries and AI applications, showcasing the breadth and potential of generative AI in enterprise solutions:
- Demandbase with Caylent: Demandbase, the leading pipeline AI platform for B2B enterprises, is partnering with Caylent, an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner. This collaboration aims to enhance Demandbase’s AI capabilities, enabling more precise targeting and personalization in B2B marketing campaigns. By leveraging AWS’s generative AI technologies, Demandbase and Caylent will work on developing intelligent agents that optimize marketing strategies and content creation.
- HealthEdge with Loka: HealthEdge, an award-winning, AI-enabled healthcare payer technology and services company, is teaming up with Loka, an AWS Innovation Partner of the Year specializing in AI/ML and cloud-native development. This pod will focus on revolutionizing healthcare administration and member engagement through generative AI. The partnership aims to create AI agents that can streamline claims processing, enhance predictive analytics for member outcomes, and improve overall healthcare delivery efficiency.
- Protecht with Caylent: Protecht is a leading provider of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) software, including solutions for enterprise risk, compliance, business continuity, resilience, third party, and cyber risk management. The pod aims to develop agentic AI-powered product capabilities, providing customers with enhanced risk management solutions while positioning Protecht as a pioneering leader in AI-driven risk management.
- Infoblox with Loka: Infoblox, a leader in uniting networking, security, and cloud with a protective DDI platform, will collaborate with Loka. This pod will focus on creating a unified, extensible AI interface within Infoblox products that leverages AWS Bedrock foundation models. The partnership aims to establish a model-agnostic platform that can serve different user personas – from network administrators to security analysts – while delivering enhanced support capabilities through contextual awareness and improved documentation intelligence.
- Karini AI with Slalom: Karini AI, an emerging leader in enterprise agentic AI, offers a GenAI-first foundation platform built on AWS. They will partner with Slalom, the AWS GenAI Consulting Global Partner of the Year. This pod will advance use cases such as legal research, fraud detection, and RFP automation, helping enterprises deploy secure, scalable AI agents faster and with measurable impact.
“These initial pods represent the beginning of a transformative program for the AI landscape,” said Francessca Vasquez, VP of Professional Services and Agentic AI at AWS. “By combining ISVs’ deep domain expertise with PIA partners’ technical prowess, we’re building solutions that will accelerate customer outcomes across industries.”
