The AWS Competency Program helps customers identify and choose the world’s top APN Partners that have demonstrated technical proficiency and proven customer success in specialized solution areas. Now more than ever, nonprofits are using IT to reduce costs and maximize operational efficiency. We are excited to announce the new AWS Nonprofit Competency Program, highlighting our top APN Partners that have built solutions on AWS that support the unique missions of the nonprofits they serve. With the help of AWS Nonprofit Competency Partners, AWS customers can quickly, cost-effiectively, and securely leverage technology to scale mission impact and drive social change.

We are excited to announce an expansion of the AWS Public Sector Contract Center. The new AWS Public Sector Contract Center includes a broader set of APN Partner contract vehicles and related information that can be used by public sector organizations to procure AWS services. We’ve also expanded the Contract Center’s focus by going global—the page now includes contract vehicles for international public sector organizations.

We are excited to announce the addition of Public Sector Contract Vehicles as a new search option in the AWS Partner Solutions Finder. We have also added the ability to search by U.S. government socioeconomic status. The AWS Public Sector Partner Program helps organizations reach government, education, or nonprofit customers around the world. We enable partners to accelerate their business growth on AWS through alignment with our public sector sales, marketing, partner, and bid teams.

In 2017, many APN Partners invested in efforts to enhance their solutions and help customers migrate enterprise desktop applications to AWS. These partners are demonstrating the value of supporting AWS services that provide customers with solutions that are secure, easy-to-use, scalable, and cost-effective. We have high expectations Partners will continue to build and optimize products to run on AWS, and provide high-quality technical content, labs, and workshops to guide customer adoption.

When the U.S. Air Force was looking to automate IT risk management and security compliance of NIPRNet and SIPRNet environments across the enterprise, the turned to Xacta 360—a solution from Telos Corporation, an AWS Advanced Technology Partner and member of the AWS Public Sector Partner Program. Xacta 360 is a risk management and compliance platform specifically engineered to integrate with many AWS services to speed and streamline the continuous compliance assessment of AWS-based workloads
