We are excited to highlight 135 AWS Partners that received new designations in October for our global AWS Competency, AWS Managed Service Provider (MSP), AWS Service Delivery, and AWS Service Ready programs. The AWS Ambassador Program is a vibrant worldwide community of technical experts from AWS Partner Network (APN) services and software partners. We are honored to recognize the AWS Ambassadors who show technical depth with multiple AWS Certifications and provide exemplary contributions to the AWS community. We are also excited to introduce our newest AWS Ambassadors who were welcomed into the program during Q3 2022.

We are pleased to announce the new Amazon EKS Delivery specialization to help customers find validated AWS Partners that can help them implement their workloads using Kubernetes on top of Amazon EKS. The Amazon EKS Delivery specialization recognizes AWS Partners who have demonstrated technical proficiency to architect, run, and operate containerized workloads on top of Amazon EKS, helping customers drive success in their container-based modernization efforts.

We are excited to announce the new AWS Control Tower specialization for AWS Partners with AWS Control Tower service and software offerings. AWS Control Tower provides an easy way to set up and govern a secure, multi-account AWS environment—reducing complexity and time required to establish governance for multiple AWS accounts. Customers can now choose customized services and software solutions from AWS Partners that complement AWS Control Tower.

While SaaS remains a huge growth driver and provides benefits to end customers and software providers, the transition to this model can be challenging as technology and operations take on new responsibilities in an “as-a-service” environment. To be successful, organizations need to rethink every dimension of how they build, sell, manage, support, and operate their solution. To help accelerate firms building SaaS solutions on AWS, the SaaS Factory team led an effort to build a new AWS Well-Architected SaaS Lens. With this release, AWS Partners have another tool to help customers with SaaS workloads on AWS. The SaaS Lens can be applied to existing workloads, or used for new workloads you define in the tool. There are no costs in using the Well-Architected Tool. Developers and architects can use it to improve their applications or get visibility into multiple workloads.

The AWS SaaS Competency helps customers find top APN Consulting Partners with deep specialization and experience in designing and building SaaS solutions on AWS. Our Competency Partners follow AWS best practices for designing and building SaaS solutions through their professional services practices. To qualify for the AWS Competency designation, organizations have undergone rigorous technical validation by AWS Partner Solutions Architects and demonstrated proven customer success.
