AWS Week in Review – March 3, 2014

Let’s take a quick look at what happened in AWS-land last week:

Monday, March 3	We announced an Update to the AWS Activate Program. We announced that AWS CloudFormation now supports AWS OpsWorks. The AWS Ruby Development Blog announced that Ruby 2.1 is Now Available on AWS OpsWorks.
Tuesday, March 4	We announced that Red Hat Enterprise Linux is now Available in AWS GovCloud (US).
Wednesday, March 5	We announced that VM Import/Export Now Supports Windows Server 2012. The AWS Security Blog discussed High Availability IAM Design Patterns. We announced Server Name Indication (SNI) and HTTP to HTTPS Redirection for Amazon CloudFront.
Thursday, March 6	We introduced Cross-Region Export and Import for DynamoDB Tables. We introduced Access Logs for Elastic Load Balancers. The AWS Security Blog invited you to Read What Others Recommend for IAM Best Practices.
Friday, March 7	This week AWS Marketplace added new products including A10 Networks, Ansible, Ishlangu Load Balancer, Kaazing, Orblogic and Prestashop.
