AWS Marketplace
New self-service registration for AWS Marketplace Sellers
By Ian Yang, Sr. Product Manager at AWS
AWS Marketplace is a digital catalog with thousands of independent software vendors that makes it easy for customers to find, buy, and deploy software on AWS. For Sellers, this gives you a way to connect to more than 170,000 customers using AWS Marketplace.
AWS Marketplace recently announced a new self-service registration experience for Sellers. With this new process, Sellers can register for AWS Marketplace faster than ever before.
How it Works
Here are step-by-step instructions for signing up for AWS Marketplace in just minutes:
- Be sure you have an AWS account. If not, you can create one here.
- Visit the AWS Marketplace Management Portal.
- Click on “Sign Up as an AWS Marketplace Seller” in the middle of the page.
- After logging in with your AWS account, you will be prompted to review the AWS Marketplace Terms & Conditions.
- Once you have accepted the Terms & Conditions, you are all registered!
Just like that, Sellers can gain immediate access to the AWS Marketplace Management Portal, and from there begin creating product listings right away. Sellers will need to add a public profile on the settings page before publishing any products on AWS Marketplace.
Additional Resources
You can continue to a step-by-step wizard to help with tax and bank account information, which Sellers need to provide in order to publish paid or bring your own license (BYOL) products.

About AWS Marketplace
AWS Marketplace is an online store that helps customers find, buy, and immediately start using the software and services they need to build products and run their businesses. AWS Marketplace complements the AWS Partner Network (APN) and is another example of our commitment to growing a strong ecosystem of software and solution partners.
Customers use AWS Marketplace’s 1-click deployment to quickly launch pre-configured software and pay only for what they use, by the hour or month. AWS handles billing and payments, and software charges appear on customers’ AWS bill.
