Meet the Advanced Computing team of AWS at SC25 in St. Louis
We want to empower every scientist and engineer to solve hard problems by giving them access to the compute and analytical tools they need, when they need them. Cloud HPC can be a real human progress catalyst. If you run large scale simulations, tune complex models, or support researchers who consistently need more compute, the International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage, and Analysis (SC25) is a chance to talk with HPC industry experts and walk away with concrete next steps instead of a long wish list. At the AWS booth you can get live demos of different HPC architectures, talk through how to run real workloads in AWS, and leave with practical options to run faster, scale further, or control costs.
AWS at SC25 – Meet the Advanced Computing team at Booth #2207
AWS Advanced Computing brings together teams across high performance computing, AI and ML, quantum computing, and research programs. Our goal is simple: help you spend more time on science and engineering and less time on undifferentiated infrastructure.
If you are:
- An engineer or scientist running large simulations
- A platform owner who wants to make cloud a first class option for your users
- A research computing leader planning the next three to five years of capacity
- A student or early career researcher exploring careers in HPC and AI
come talk to us at Booth #2207. We would like to discuss your HPC wins and challenges, share what other customers are doing on AWS, and help power your next breakthrough!
New at SC25: Amazon EC2 Hpc8a instances
Coming in 2026: Amazon EC2 Hpc8a Instances
Amazon EC2 Hpc8a instances, powered by 5th Gen AMD EPYC processors (formerly code-named Turin), will be available in 2026. These instances are designed for compute-intensive high-performance computing workloads, including Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), weather forecasting, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and drug discovery applications.
Additional details on availability and specifications will be shared closer to launch.
