AWS Marketplace now available in the AWS Secret Region
Amazon Web Services (AWS) today announced the launch of AWS Marketplace in the AWS Secret Region, an expansion of the AWS Marketplace for the US Intelligence Community (ICMP) program. With this announcement, intelligence community customers now have access to 30 ISVs and 170 products in the AWS Secret Region, an air-gapped cloud accredited to support workloads up to the Secret US security classification level.
AWS commits additional $20M to tackle health equity disparities through cloud technology
In 2021, Amazon Web Services (AWS) launched the AWS Health Equity Initiative as a three-year, $40 million commitment to help solve gaps in health equity. Today, AWS is announcing an additional $20 million in funding for the program, bringing the company’s total commitment to $60 million in cloud credits and technical expertise. The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Skills to Jobs Tech Alliance expansion into three new countries carries the same mission of aligning education providers, employers, government agencies, and business conveners to grow tech skills in a specific geography.
