On Tuesday, May 24, Max Peterson, vice president of worldwide public sector at AWS, took the keynote stage at AWS Summit Washington, DC to share announcements, news, and stories of how our public sector customers are leveraging the cloud to deliver mission-critical outcomes. At the AWS Summit Washington, DC, vice president of worldwide public sector at Amazon Web Services (AWS), Max Peterson, will take the stage to talk about the public sector’s digital transformation and celebrate the pioneers who are breaking barriers and driving change. Max will share announcements, customer stories, and updates on initiatives that we hope will inspire you. The keynote on Tuesday, May 24 at 11:30 AM ET will also feature three AWS customer speakers who will share stories of how they’re leveraging the cloud to get the agility, resilience, and security needed to keep pushing boundaries.

From Tuesday, March 22 through Wednesday, March 23 in Washington, DC, the no-cost, in-person IMAGINE: Nonprofit conference will bring together leaders, technologists, and mission-driven innovators in the nonprofit sector to learn, connect, and inspire each other about the ways technology can support nonprofits in making a positive impact around the world.

At the 10th anniversary of re:Invent, Max Peterson, vice president of worldwide public sector at Amazon Web Services (AWS) took to the stage to highlight AWS customers’ innovative advancements to empower communities and transform the future of research, as well as new cloud-powered paths to space exploration and the impact this has on our lives here on Earth. He was joined by customers who shared their stories of how they’re leveraging the cloud to drive their missions. Plus, Max announced a series of new initiatives for public sector customers.

This year, re:Invent from Amazon Web Services (AWS) is back in-person, in Las Vegas, Nevada, from Monday, November 29 through Friday, December 3. There will be two public sector leadership sessions during re:Invent for attendees to get inspired and discover the latest advancements and new initiatives from and for the public sector, featuring AWS public sector leadership and public sector customers with groundbreaking stories about how the cloud is driving innovation.

The AWS Summit – Washington, DC keynote will be hosted by Max Peterson, vice president of public sector at AWS. Peterson will take a look at the latest innovative advancements happening across the public sector and share key learnings on how organizations can continue to push boundaries with the cloud. The AWS Public Sector Summit Online 2020 is happening June 30 and registration is still open and at no-cost. Teresa Carlson, vice president of worldwide public sector at AWS, will host the event keynote, reflecting on the impressive global efforts of our customers and partners over the past few months and sharing the latest news and announcements. Three customers—from Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training, Navy ERP, and OTN—will join her on our virtual stage to tell their stories focused on fast migration, business resiliency, scalability, and innovation.
