The Seattle Public Library and AWS deliver free AI and cloud skilling to community members
The Seattle Public Library and AWS are bringing free AI and cloud skills training directly into neighborhood branches to meet learners where they are. Since 2025, the collaboration has delivered over 50 classes to more than 550 community members, removing barriers like cost, transportation, and access that often keep people from pursuing tech education. Classes are led by AWS technical trainers who adapt to each audience, and the Library offers free certification exam vouchers to qualifying participants.

AWS is helping social enterprises close this gap with AI and cloud technology — from 3R Innovation’s Dr. Simon AI tool that supports 500,000 students with early detection, to Enrichly’s pediatric behavioral health infrastructure reaching 200,000 children. How 42 social enterprises created 12-month AI and cloud roadmaps in three days
At the AWS Social Entrepreneur Accelerator (SEA) in May 2026, 71 leaders from 42 organizations across 17 countries built tailored business and technology roadmaps with support from AWS Solutions Architects, Deloitte consultants, and AWS Partners. Participants tackled challenges in education, health, and climate using AI and cloud technology. SEA creates lasting peer networks and partnerships that help mission-driven founders and tech leaders translate bold ideas into scalable, sustainable solutions.
