mister aladin is an Indonesian online travel company offering domestic and international packages for hotels, flights, activities and tours. It leverages AWS services such as Amazon Route53 and Amazon EC2 for scalability and availability, enabling it to handle peak load times of up to 4x the normal traffic. It also runs 70% of its infrastructure on reserved instances which has enabled cost savings of up to 35%. By using Amazon Elasticsearch and Amazon Elasticache, it has seen customer sales triple on its platform as a result of faster website load and transaction times. It has seen a four-digit growth YoY since 2017.
