Overview
The sportswear market is estimated to be worth $248.1 billion by 2026 as populations become more health conscious and take up fitness activities such as running, hiking, and aerobics.
Taiwan-based Little King is helping companies like Adidas, Nike and Under Armour meet this growing demand by supplying advanced textiles for their sportswear ranges.
With competition increasing, Little King sought to improve efficiency by upgrading its enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Its on-premises infrastructure needed refreshing every five years, requiring significant capital investment. Additionally, its ERP system provided poor visibility into business processes.

Ensuring Continued Development with SAP on AWS
Little King replaced its ERP with SAP S/4HANA on Amazon Web Services with the support of AWS Partner, eCloudvalley. Says YC Liao, IT manager at Little King, “We chose to run SAP S/4HANA on AWS because of the range of services available for future development compared to other cloud providers.”
With SAP S/4HANA on AWS, Little King gains real-time insight into purchase and order systems, including cost analysis. The platform runs on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instances that scale up and down with workloads.
The business also uses Amazon Aurora Serverless to auto scale its supply chain management database without management intervention, and Amazon CloudWatch and AWS CloudTrail for data security.
