Hosting SAP Hybris Commerce on AWS with Piksel Retail

In many retail environments, SAP Hybris Commerce is deployed into production in what could best be described as a traditional way. Some organizations have opted to migrate SAP Hybris Commerce to the cloud, but have done so through “lift and shift” methods. Piksel Retail, a Piksel Group company, created the Digital Commerce Channel (DC2) to address these challenges. DC2 is their SAP Hybris-based e-commerce solution, deployed on AWS. Updated SAP HANA on AWS Quick Start Supports Multi-AZ, Single-Node Configurations

We are excited to release a major update to the SAP HANA on AWS Quick Start that supports Multi-AZ, single-node configurations with high availability. The SAP HANA on AWS Quick Start helps you deploy fully functional SAP HANA systems on the AWS Cloud, following best practices from AWS and SAP. The Multi-AZ option uses two Availability Zones for the SAP HANA environment on AWS and provisions two SAP HANA servers—primary and secondary—in separate, private subnets and configures them for high availability.

Coming Soon: SLES for SAP in AWS Marketplace

AWS and SUSE have been working together for years to bring SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) to our joint SAP customers. Since 2012, when AWS first certified its platform for SAP workloads, including SAP HANA One, customers have been using the SLES operating system to run their SAP applications on AWS. As part of our continuing efforts to provide our joint SAP customers with the best experience, we are pleased to announce SLES for SAP will become available in AWS Marketplace in Q4 2017.
