With the rapid shift to remote and hybrid work, Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) is an effective means of providing workers with the tools they need to do their jobs. In order to help IT leaders better understand the DaaS vendor landscape and inform development of effective end-user computing strategies, IDC recently published the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Desktop as a Service 2022-2023 Vendor Assessment¹.

In the report, AWS ( is named a Leader based on the strength of our ‘Strategies’ and ‘Capabilities’ delivered through services including the Amazon WorkSpaces Family services and Amazon AppStream 2.0 application streaming service.
