Harshvardhan Chunawala is an AWS Golden Jacket awardee, a Solutions Architect at AWS, and an AWS Academy Authorized Educator. A globally recognized thought leader in cloud security with over a decade of experience, he leads cross-functional efforts across Amazon teams to shape frontier capabilities in cloud security, aerospace and trustworthy AI services. Harshvardhan is an advisory board member, Visiting Faculty, and cybersecurity researcher at Carnegie Mellon University, where he served as Space Mission Engineering Lead for the United States' first lunar mission since Apollo 17 under NASA's CLPS program. He is a former lead research fellow at Stanford's SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory for U.S. Department of Energy projects in secure distributed computing and smart electric grids. Away from the keyboard, Harshvardhan pursues his love of the skies through skydiving and flying planes.
