BDP now supports securing, monitoring, and reporting on AWS GovCloud (US)

Enlighten IT Consulting, an AWS Managed Service Partner, is the prime integrator for the Department of Defense (DoD) Big Data Platform (BDP). BDP is a fully accredited government-owned platform used for storing, querying, and analyzing cyber data that runs at petabyte scale in the AWS GovCloud (US) Region.

The BDP has been adopted by multiple defense and federal civilian agencies as the primary security information event management solution (SIEM) due to its ability to support petabyte-scale data ingest, processing, storage, and visualization without the burden of licensing cost or lock-in.

As federal customers migrate workloads into AWS FedRAMP-accredited regions, advanced cyber sensor data gets generated within a customer’s Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) environment. Through a collaboration between AWS and Enlighten, the BDP now supports the secure ingest, monitoring, and reporting on customers’ AWS-based assets in addition to on-premises resources enabling total enterprise visibility.

The advantage of capturing and ingesting AWS-generated sensor data within a customer’s BDP environment is the opportunity to enrich existing enterprise cyber data with AWS sensor data for heightened enterprise visibility, reporting, and response from a single console. GOTS BDP delivered through Enlighten Cyber Professional Services offers customers, on any budget, access to a managed service at the scale of the AWS Cloud.
