Hear from peers to learn how to expand your impact and up your skills
From breakouts to keynotes to hands-on demos, Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers and partners will be sharing their successes and stories on Tuesday, May 24 and Wednesday, May 25. Check out sessions on topics including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), analytics, business solutions, cloud operations, compute, databases, digital transformation, disaster response, end user computing, hybrid cloud, Internet of Things (IoT), migration, modern applications (DevOps, containers, and serverless), networking, open data, security, social impact, storage, sustainability, Well Architected, workforce development, and more.
May 24 will feature sessions tailored for attendees new to cloud and decision makers. May 25 will feature deeper dive technical content as well as interactive content, like builders’ sessions—small group sessions led by an AWS expert who will help attendees build a service or product on their own laptop.

Dive deep during industry pre-day events
On Monday, May 23, AWS will hold multiple industry pre-day events as an opportunity for you to join industry peers and focus on issues for your specific industry. These events will feature AWS leaders, subject matter experts, and customers offering migration and deployment best practices for leveraging AWS to increase mission impact. Planned pre-days include: US Federal Civilian Pre-Day, US Federal Financial Services Industry Pre-Day, US Department of Defense Industry Pre-Day, Public Sector Healthcare Pre-Day, and Public Sector Startups Pre-Day.
For AWS Partners, check out the AWS Partner Pre-Day. The day includes a forum, leadership circles, a luncheon, networking opportunities, and more.
Register for any of these industry pre-days by registering for AWS Summit Washington, DC. Then select “Sessions” in the event portal, filter under “Session type” to select “Industry Pre-Day,” and star (favorite) your preferred pre-day.
Network and explore in the expo hall and more
In addition to hundreds of learning opportunities in breakout sessions and technical talks, you can network, mingle, and explore. May 24 and 25 will feature an expo hall with AWS Partners, customers, and AWS staff, to help answer questions and help you get started on or accelerate your cloud journey. The expo hall will also feature AWS DeepRacer, Obliteride, and other interactive experiences.
Don’t forget to check out the keynote from Max Peterson, vice president of public sector at AWS, on Tuesday, May 24. And be sure not to miss the closing reception on Wednesday, May 25.
