Public sector partners award winners demonstrate leadership and success with AWS

Today at re:Invent 2019 in Las Vegas, more than 100 innovative leaders from more than 60 different companies who are part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN) came together to collaborate, learn, and recognize contributions to the public sector.

This year, we introduced the AWS Public Sector Competency and Region Awards. The winners were selected based on their success within their AWS Competency, demonstration of Amazon Leadership Principles, engagement and success with the APN, and delivery of results in a customer obsessed way. Recognizing the importance of – and difference between – consulting partners and technology partners, we presented an award to both in each category.

I want to personally thank these partners for their customer obsession and contribution to our customer’s success. And I’d also like to take this time to thank all of our public sector partners for their commitment to our customers and AWS.

Migration Public Sector Consulting Partner Award: Smartronix

Additionally, we recognized 20 companies for earning new AWS Public Sector Competencies. To receive the AWS Competency designation, organizations must undergo a rigorous technical validation by AWS solutions architects related to industry-specific technology.
