Register for ACT-IAC Imagine Nation ELC to learn more about government cybersecurity and mission modernization with AWS

This October 20-23 in Philadelphia, the American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC), a public-private partnership of community and government leaders, will host Imagine Nation ELC 2019.

The three-day event brings together more than 1,000 attendees – a third from government, including executives and leaders – to discuss how to improve government through technology. This year’s theme is “Driving Impact! Innovation through Government and Industry Collaboration” and session topics include workforce, acquisition, data, customer experience, supply chain/blockchain, privacy, process automation, shared services, the cloud (Agile, DevOps, IT Modernization), and budget.

Teresa Carlson, Vice President of Worldwide Public Sector at Amazon Web Services (AWS), is co-chairing the event with Suzette Kent, Federal Chief Information Officer at the Office of Management & Budget. Since 1990, the ELC conference has been the annual destination for leaders in the government tech community to educate, learn, and collaborate with one another on new solutions and strategies to achieve the mission.

To maximize the attendee experience, Imagine Nation ELC provides multiple training zones throughout the conference including: Center Stage for compelling TED Talk®-like presentations from industry and government thought leaders; TechKnow Showcase to inspire innovative thinking, revealing how tomorrow’s technologies are taking shape today to advance government’s mission; and the Partner Pavilion to showcase the exciting ways that solutions, services, and technology are being used by government customers. Visit the AWS Innovation Café to grab a coffee from the barista, get a quick AWS tutorial during a 10-minute training, hear more about We Power Tech, and learn how AWS is helping government agencies deliver on their missions.

The shift in technology and move to the cloud is unlike any other in our lifetime and the speed of innovation is happening much faster than anyone anticipated.. Every industry and all levels of government are using the cloud for their most complex, innovative, and mission-critical projects. Cloud technology continues to be a major catalyst in how the federal government can achieve operational efficiencies and innovate to advance their mission. Agencies across government can use the cloud for mission-critical workloads, experiment and have the ability to scale easily with each new mission, no matter the data classification or location.

Registration is still open for the event. Check out the latest speakers and sessions and register to learn more about how the cloud can help government agencies with their digital transformation and mission fulfillment.
