Federal departments and agencies share how the cloud helps advance their missions

From healthcare to veteran services to aerospace research, federal agencies have leveraged the cloud to advance their missions. With benefits from the cloud, such as cost savings, data redundancy, and opportunities to adopt emerging technology, federal customers can better serve and protect their constituents. Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Bahrain hosted its first artificial intelligence (AI) two-week hackathon, culminating at the AWS Summit in Bahrain. State of Maryland transforms social services using AWS

The Maryland Department of Human Services (DHS) is the state’s primary social service provider. Through 24 local social services agencies, the department assists people in economic need, provides preventive services, and protects vulnerable children and adults in each of Maryland’s 23 counties and the City of Baltimore.

Building a Developer Community in the Public Sector
