AWS launches cloud game development digital learning badge
Today, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Training and Certification is offering the first AWS Digital Learning Badge for Cloud Game Development via a flexible Cloud Game Development Learning Plan through AWS’s online learning center, AWS Skill Builder.
The free digital training in this Skill Builder Learning Plan, created by AWS for Games solution experts, provides a deeper examination of game-specific solution design and operational considerations for developing games on AWS. Game developers, DevOps administrators, and cloud architects can now showcase their knowledge in creating and maintaining games in the cloud through a verifiable AWS for Games Digital Learning Badge, available through Credly. Learners will earn their digital badge once a score of 80% or higher on the associated online assessment is achieved.
The Cloud Game Development Learning Plan includes:
- An introduction to the principles and best practices for game developers hosting their game in the AWS Cloud
- The benefits and technical considerations of different game development modernization solutions including virtual workstations, version control systems, and build pipelines
- Leveraging Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), deploying serverless and .NET applications, and applying AWS CodePipeline, AWS Lambda, and AWS CloudFormation.
Thousands of customers use AWS for Games to transform their business, increase agility, reduce costs, and accelerate innovation. AWS Cloud Game Development enables developers to build game development pipelines for distributed teams working anywhere in the world – across the game development pipeline, infrastructure and networking that studios would normally run on-premises.
Earn the trust and confidence of peers, leaders, customers, and employers by enrolling in the AWS Skill Builder Cloud Game Development Learning Plan, unlock your digital badge, and share your success with your network. Make sure to share your accomplishment with #AWSTraining and #AWSforGames!
