Accelerating Sales Success through the AWS PTP
Through the AWS PTP, ST IT Cloud effectively transformed its sales approach, doubling its sales in less than 1 year. It now offers a new catalog of service packages and has developed a marketing plan for each offering, which has streamlined its go-to-market approach. “The greatest benefit that ST IT Cloud achieved in the AWS PTP was the ability to understand exactly what the customer needs,” says Renato Calabro, chief technical officer of ST IT Cloud. “We can now use our strategies to approach customers with a technical solution or show how we can meet their needs with our service catalog.”
ST IT Cloud also became an AWS Public Sector Partner, which validates AWS Partners with cloud-based solutions and experience supporting government, space, education, and nonprofits. By earning this credential, ST IT Cloud can validate its solutions for its public clients and has expanded into the public sector. Through the AWS PTP, it secured a contract with one of the largest private education companies in Brazil, supporting over 900,000 students. ST IT Cloud achieved this contract after impressing the education company with a course recommendation engine built on Amazon Neptune, a fully managed graph database.

Delivering Advanced Services to Public and Private Sector Customers
By participating in the AWS PTP, ST IT Cloud is on track to increase its sales by 300 percent in 2022. It is focusing on developing solutions for the public sector, such as a smart fridge for vaccine storage that uses machine learning to determine inventory in near real time.
ST IT Cloud will continue to accelerate its status as an AWS Partner. It is preparing to join the AWS Service Delivery Program, which validates AWS Partners that have deep technical knowledge, experience, and proven success in delivering specific AWS services to customers, for AWS Lambda, a serverless, event-driven compute service. “We are iterating our sales processes so that we can continually improve and get things done better and faster,” says Calabro. “This improvement cycle started with the AWS PTP.”
