Amazon Rekognition Launches FIPS 140-2 Validated Endpoints and Rekognition Video Expands to Additional Region
Amazon Rekognition Video Analysis and FIPS 140-2 compliant endpoints are now available in the AWS GovCloud (US) Region.
Amazon Rekognition’s APIs enable you to quickly add sophisticated deep learning-based visual search and image classification to your applications. FIPS 140-2 compliant API endpoints make it easier to use the service for regulated workloads. With Rekognition, you only pay for the images and video you analyze and the metadata you store. There are no minimum fees or upfront commitments.
Amazon Rekognition is also currently available in US East (Northern Virginia), US West (Oregon), EU (Ireland), and Asia Pacific (Sydney and Tokyo) regions. To get started, simply log in to the Rekognition Console to try the service with sample content or your own content
