In September 2024, we launched 21 new digital training products on AWS Skill Builder including 7 new digital courses, an exciting new game-based learning exam prep option for AWS Certified AI Practitioner: AWS Escape Room: Exam prep for AWS Certified AI Practitioner AIF, and a new generative AI course for AWS Partners: AWS Partner: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) on AWS (Business).

In August, we launched 46 new digital training products on AWS Skill Builder including 28 new digital courses, 2 new AWS Builder Labs, and 1 new and 1 updated Learning Plan. We also launched one new Classroom training for executives, Generative AI for Executives, and updated the advanced course, Data Warehousing on AWS. Registration and exam prep materials are now available for two new AWS Certifications: AWS Certified AI Practitioner and AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer – Associate.

In July, we launched 25 new digital training products on AWS Skill Builder, including 12 new free digital courses, five new AWS Builder Labs, and two new exciting game-based learning offerings: AWS SimuLearn and AWS Cloud Quest: Generative AI.

Welcome to the March course launch blog. This month we launched eight new digital training products on AWS Skill Builder, including four new AWS Builder Labs and Generative AI Developer Kit. We also have three new, and one updated AWS Classroom Training courses—two of which have AWS Partner versions—including Developing Generative AI Applications on AWS. A reminder: registration is now open for the new AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate exam. In February, we launched 22 new digital training products on AWS Skill Builder, including new AWS Digital Classroom courses for annual subscribers, five new solution assignments to build generative AI skills via AWS Cloud Quest, and new prep courses for the AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate exam.

We are retiring three specialty AWS Certifications in April 2024: AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty, AWS Certified Database – Specialty, and AWS Certified: SAP on AWS – Specialty. Additionally, we are launching the AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate certification, available to take March 12, 2024.

Artificial intelligence (AI) itself may not be new, but the field was thrown into a new level of overdrive in late 2022 when the launch of ChatGPT brought generative AI and large language models (LLMs) quickly and irrevocably into the public’s consciousness. In September 2023, AWS released Amazon Bedrock, a fully managed AI service that allows AWS developers to easily integrate generative AI models into their cloud projects. Learn how three IT professionals were all able to use AWS’s training resources to quickly come up to speed on Amazon Bedrock and put these technologies to use.
