Registration is now open for the beta exams of the AWS Certified AI Practitioner and the AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer – Associate. This blog shares guidance from Das and Taylor about these new certifications and how they can help you to future-proof your career.

As organizations seek to harness artificial intelligence to drive innovation and competitive advantage, executives need to be well-versed in the fundamentals of generative AI. Our new classroom course, Generative AI for Executives, is meticulously designed to give c-suite and senior business leaders from technical and non-technical business units the knowledge and tools necessary to lead generative AI initiatives effectively.

In July, we launched 25 new digital training products on AWS Skill Builder, including 12 new free digital courses, five new AWS Builder Labs, and two new exciting game-based learning offerings: AWS SimuLearn and AWS Cloud Quest: Generative AI.

AWS Certification will introduce three new question types: ordering, matching, and case study. Combined with the existing multiple-choice questions and multiple-response questions, the new question types are designed to reduce your reading time and test additional critical concepts. The first exams to include these new question types are AWS Certified AI Practitioner and AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer – Associate. Learn more about each new question type.

In June, we launched 29 new digital training products on AWS Skill Builder, including 12 new generative AI digital courses (eight free and four paid), two new AWS Builder Labs, one new AWS Digital Classroom course, and a robust learning plan for aspiring machine learning engineers. For leaders, we launched a six-week generative AI learning experience in collaboration with the Udemy. We also announced two new AWS Certifications in AI and ML, with supporting exam prep materials.

The new learning program, Unlocking Generative AI Opportunities with AWS, developed in collaboration with the Udemy Business Leadership Academy, is uniquely designed to equip leaders across all industries with the generative AI knowledge and change management strategies they need to develop talent successfully and drive the digital transformation within their organizations. In May, we launched 33 new digital training products on AWS Skill Builder, including two new AWS Builder Labs, a new Digital Classroom course (Build Applications with AWS NoSQL Databases), a new Partner course (Generative AI on AWS Essentials (Business)), and localized versions of Exam Prep: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02), Exam Prep: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer- Professional (DOP-C02), and Exam Prep: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (SAP-C02).
