SundayToz Increases Game Scalability and Stability by Migrating to AWS

SundayToz is a casual game developer that creates social games for online and mobile platforms. Based in Korea, SundayToz is most known for creating the Anipang series and games featuring global intellectual property, such as Disney POP TOWN and the We Bare Bears puzzle. In this video, CTO Chang-myeong Lee and technical director Sungpil Jo of SundayToz explain how migrating to Amazon Web Services (AWS) from on-premises Internet Data Centers (IDCs) enabled SundayToz to increase the scalability, stability, and security of its game portfolio.
By building a containerized infrastructure using Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS) and leveraging AWS analytics and machine learning services including Amazon Athena, Amazon EMR, and Amazon SageMaker, SundayToz automated workloads to reduce the burden on its team while decreasing operational costs by over a third.
