As Techcombank began its migration to AWS, the company faced a shortage of in-house cloud skills, as well as in the broader workforce in Vietnam. Leveraging AWS Skills Guild, a comprehensive skills enablement program, Techcombank built its in-house cloud competency, increasing employee engagement, and driving cloud fluency at scale. With a mix of AWS classroom training and informal training events, it grew cloud knowledge and hands-on skills across the business, aligning more closely with the company’s digital and cloud transformation ambitions and introducing in a new culture of cloud innovation.

As a direct result of cloud training, the time to provision a new environment has been reduced from over a month to just five days on AWS.
