Our most requested feature has been to provide an easier way to process bounces and complaints. Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES) is thrilled to announce feedback notification via Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS).

Now, as an alternative to parsing bounces and complaints passed back to your mailbox, you can set an Amazon SNS topic for bounce or complaint notifications by verified domain or email address and receive them in a simple JSON format. The JSON object will include the message ID of the message that bounced or caused the complaint, along with the email address that bounced or most likely complained.

You can set this up via the AWS Management Console or programmatically via API, so you can choose whichever method works best for you.
