Today, we are enhancing the AWS Organizations console to enable you to centrally view and update the alternate contacts for your AWS accounts. To ensure that you receive important notifications about your AWS accounts, we previously released the Accounts SDK that enabled you to programmatically manage billing, operations, and security contacts for accounts in your organization. With this launch, you can now also use the console to easily perform this operation without logging into each account. Support for additional account settings will be available in future releases.
AWS Organizations helps you centrally manage and govern your environment as you grow and scale your AWS resources. Your organization’s administrators can now use the console UI in the management account to centrally manage alternate contacts for member accounts without requiring credentials for each AWS account.
The ability to update alternate contacts on AWS accounts from the Organizations console is available at no additional charge in all commercial AWS Regions. To learn more about this feature, see the documentation.
