We are excited to announce that AWS SimSpace Weaver is now available in the AWS GovCloud (US-East) and AWS GovCloud (US-West) Regions. Government customers such as departments that handle disaster relief, defense, national logistics, and partners such as federal contractors and systems integrators with customers who have U.S. federal, state, or local government security and compliance requirements can now use these regions to host sensitive data and regulated workloads in the cloud. All SimSpace Weaver features are available in the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions.
SimSpace Weaver is a fully managed compute service that helps customers deploy large spatial simulations in the cloud. With SimSpace Weaver, customers can create seamless virtual worlds with hundreds, thousands, and even millions of objects that can interact with each another in real time without ever worrying about managing the back-end AWS infrastructure. Government customers can use these simulations for immersive training, logistics planning, environmental hazard preparedness, and other large-scale modeling and simulation scenarios.
In addition to the newly added AWS GovCloud (US) Regions, SimSpace Weaver is also available in eight other AWS Regions: US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Ireland), and Europe (Stockholm).
