Announcing 2023 AWS Partner Award Nominations

The 2023 AWS Partner Awards honor partners who have demonstrated outstanding results and innovation with the use of Amazon Web Services (AWS) products and solutions. These awards are an acknowledgment of exceptional partner success and innovations.

AWS Partner Awards recognize a wide range of born-in-the-cloud and traditional services, software, and hardware partners whose business models have embraced specialization and collaboration.

Nomination-Based Award Categories

For the second year in a row, AWS Partners can self-nominate themselves to be considered across a select number of AWS Partner Award categories, related to partner focus areas, technologies, and the significant impact partners are making in delighting our customers.

Award submissions will be reviewed by a third-party, Canalys, and selected with special emphasis placed on customer success use cases presented in the nomination form. All winners will be informed by November 1, 2023, and will be recognized and celebrated at this year’s AWS re:Invent.

All nominations must be submitted by 11:59 PM PDT on August 17, 2023.

Nomination Categories and Forms

AWS Partners can apply to more than one award, but they may not submit multiple nominations per any given category. A list of the five categories accepting nominations with specific eligibility requirements and details is featured below. A separate application is required for each of category.

New this year—forms are also available in Simplified Chinese and Japanese.

We’ve also created PowerPoint versions of the nomination form to help prepare your submission. AWS Partners are encouraged to review and prepare this form alongside their Partner Development Manager (PDM) and/or Partner Marketing Manager (PMM).

Note that access to the PowerPoint version of the nomination forms require an AWS Partner Central login.

Category Descriptions and Judging Criteria

Innovation Partner of the Year

Requirement to applying: Open to partners enrolled in the Services Partner Path.

Recognizes organizations that deliver innovative consulting, professional, managed, and value-added resale services. Recipients will have demonstrated proof in delivering outstanding customer experience via an integrated lifecycle of services, from initial assessments, architecting, developing, and deployment of cloud environments to ongoing migration and management of cloud infrastructure and applications.

Design Partner of the Year

Requirement to applying: Open to partners enrolled in the Hardware or Software Partner Path.

Recognizes organizations that develop software or hardware devices that runs on or is integrated with AWS. Recipients will have achieved a design win in either a software and/or hardware product built on or with AWS. Selected based on impact software/hardware has had on the regional market (e.g. applicability, size of audience, public status).

Social Impact Partner of the Year

Requirement to applying: Partner-nominated category covering all partner types.

Recognizes AWS Partners committed to giving back to society through their people, resources, and technology, and that are leading initiatives to change our world for the better.

Sustainability Partner of the Year

Requirement to applying: Partner nominated category covering all partner types.

Recognizes AWS Partners committed to achieving sustainability goals. Solutions may cover, but are not limited to, capabilities in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), data analytics, and computing to reach your organization’s or customer’s sustainability goals.

Collaboration Partner of the Year

Requirement to applying: Partner nominated category covering all partner types. Nomination will be submitted and distributed to the partner leading the collaborative efforts.

Recognizes situations where a partner has collaborated with two (2) or more AWS Partners in helping address customer problems. Awarded to a partner organization that collaborates with other AWS Partners to work on solving the same customer challenge with their skills and ability to deliver valuable customer solutions based on services and technology offered across multiple AWS Partners.
