We’re excited to announce the AWS Advertising and Marketing Technology Competency to help AWS customers find partners that will develop the future of advertising and marketing by promoting solutions built on AWS—making data interoperability and innovation more effective. Previously called the AWS Digital Customer Experience Competency, the expanded Competency includes new categories to further differentiate partners and help customers find the right solution for their business.

A Total Economic Impact Partner Opportunity Analysis for Channel Partners Selling in AWS Marketplace
In September 2023, AWS commissioned Forrester Consulting to conduct a Total Economic Impact (TEI) study to examine the potential business opportunity and return on investment (ROI) that Channel Partners can realize by building and scaling an AWS Marketplace practice. Learn about the study’s framework and key findings, including potential revenue opportunities, benefits, costs, and best practices associated with reselling third-party software, data, and offering professional services in AWS Marketplace.
We are excited to introduce the Partner Initiative Funding (PIF) template in the AWS Partner Funding Portal (APFP), enabling AWS Partners to easily self-access their agreement and any initiative funds without relying on their AWS partner manager. The template unifies and standardizes the different funding experiences into one template, and provides funding transparency throughout the funding cycle. This improves the overall funding process time for partners by having a configurable workflow.
In the era of 5G, telecommunication services providers (telcos) are under pressure to find new ways to build, operate, and monetize networks while delivering new and greater value to customers. We’re excited to introduce the AWS Telecommunications Competency, which helps telcos find validated partners offering consulting services in key telecom solution areas, including Operations Support Systems (OSS), Business Support Systems (BSS), Communications as a Service (CaaS), Mobile Networks, and Media & TV.
