Monday, May 11	We announced that you can now Quickly Filter Data in Amazon Redshift Using Interleaved Sorting. We announced a New VPC Endpoint for Amazon S3. We announced that Amazon Redshift and Amazon RDS Now Support Encryption via AWS Key Management Service in the AWS GovCloud (US) Region. The Teraproc Blog talked about Scaling R Clusters? AWS Spot Pricing is Your New Best Friend. The AWS Big Data Blog showed you how to Optimize for Star Schemas and Interleaves Sorting on Amazon Redshift. The AWS Java Blog announced the DynamoDB XSpec API. The 2nd Watch Blog talked about Business Intelligence and Analytics in the Public Cloud. The Cloud Academy Blog talked about Data Backup Using AWS s3cmd: A Simple and Effective Solution. A presentation by my colleague Carlos Conde talked about Building Apps with the AWS SDK for PHP.
Tuesday, May 12	We announced that Registration for re:Invent 2015 is Now Open. We announced that AWS OpsWorks Supports Custom Auto Scaling and Custom EBS Block Device Settings. We announced that EC2’s G2 Instances are Now Available in the EU (Frankfurt) Region. The Amazon Mobile App Distribution Blog talked about how Indie Developers Share Their Experience at the Amazon Showcase in Berlin. The AWS Partner Network Blog talked aobut Helping Customers Increase Cloud Adoption and Automate on AWS – ClearScale and Chef. The AWS Startup Collection offered Five Tips to Get Started with Continuous Delivery. James Hamilton talked about Greenpeace, Renewable Energy, and Data Centers. The Cloudability Blog talked about Unlocking the Secrets of AWS Billing Reports. The Gathering Clouds Blog listed 5 Ways to Monitor and Control AWS Cloud Costs.
Wednesday, May 13	We launched AWS Educate – Credits, Training, Content, and Collaboration for Students & Educators. The AWS Security Blog announced the AWS OCIE Cybersecurity Initiative Workbook. The We Kanban Blog talked about Amazon Web Services Storage Gateway Snapshots. The 2nd Watch Blog talked about High Performance Computing in the Public Cloud.
Thursday, May 14	I blogged about a Useful New IAM Feature – Access Key Last Used Info. We announced that the AWS Mobile SDK for Unity is Now Available. We announced that the AWS Directory Service API & CLI (with Bonus CloudTrail Integration) is Now Available. We announced that AWS Elastic Beanstalk Supports Time-Based Scaling. We announced that you can Seamlessly Join Your Amazon EC2 for Microsoft Windows Server Instances to a Domain in Additional Regions. We updated the AWS SDK for JavaScript, AWS SDK for .NET, AWS Tools for Windows PowerShell, AWS SDK for Java, AWS SDK for Ruby, and the AWS CLI. The AWS Windows and .NET Developer Blog announced Support for the PowerShell Gallery. The AWS Mobile Development Blog published a post to help you to Understand Amazon Cognito Authentication: Enhanced Flow. The AWS Partner Network Blog shared the Newest AWS Partner Success Stories: 2nd Watch and Druva. The AWS Startup Collection talked about High Availability for Mere Mortals.
Friday, May 15	The AWS DevOps Blog talked about Using Capistrano to run Arbitrary Commands on AWS OpsWorks Instances. The AWS Security Blog showed you How to Receive Alerts When Specific APIs are Called by Using AWS CloudTrail, Amazon SNS, and AWS Lambda. The Cloud Academy Blog discussed the topic of Dynamic Website: Economical Hosting Options on AWS. A post on Stackshare talked about How 500px Serves up over 500TB of High Res Photos. We added six new videos: Hearst Corporation Consolidates its IT Infrastructure by Using AWS, DataXu Evaluates 30 Trillion Ad Opportunities Monthly on AWS, CrowdChat Hosts Millions of Online Conversations Using AWS, AWS Test Drive for APN Partners: Showcase your Enterprise Solutions on AWS, AWS Test Drive for APN Partners: Showcase your Enterprise Solutions (short) on AWS, and Getting Started with Amazon CloudSearch: Product Tour Screencast. We added PerfAccel to the AWS Marketplace. Hesham Amin wrote about Configuring and Testing AWS Elastic Load Balancer.
