Get help building your public sector business with APN Navigate
Now available for organizations and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partners interested in expanding into the public sector: the APN Navigate Program. The APN Navigate Program expanded to offer dedicated tracks to help new and existing AWS Partners build a successful public sector practice. Called Public Sector Foundations, these tracks are open to all registered AWS Partners with the goal of helping them do business in the public sector and define their specialty to accelerate their route to market with AWS.
The new self-service AWS Navigate public sector tracks provide early stage partners a holistic partner onboarding experience to the AWS Partner Network (APN) and foundational knowledge for building a successful public sector practice. These tracks provide a roadmap for business and technical leaders within the AWS Partner organization to understand and implement their AWS Partner journey.
Tim FitzGerald, vice president of global IaaS at Ingram Micro Cloud shared, “We’re excited to see AWS roll out dedicated public sector tracks for partners. As an AWS distributor and AWS Public Sector Partner, we’re constantly looking for ways to better enable AWS partners in building a successful public sector practice. The APN Navigate Public Sector Foundations tracks provide a comprehensive overview of everything you need to know to get started with public sector and we’re thrilled to have been engaged throughout the process and see this come to life. We look forward to the rollout of great resources like this for partners and excited for more partners to grow a successful public sector practice on AWS as a result.”
Sandy Carter, vice president of worldwide public sector partners and programs at AWS added, “We are thrilled to announce the launch of public sector-specific tracks in APN Navigate. This new and targeted content will help partners accelerate their journey in public sector, and continues our commitment to help partners of all stages develop and grow their AWS practice.”
The Public Sector Foundations tracks within APN Navigate complement the existing technical AWS Competency tracks already supported by APN Navigate. These are the first of several tracks focused on the public sector built with our AWS Partner feedback and evolving needs.
What is included the APN Navigate Public Sector Foundations tracks?
Public Sector Foundations includes two tracks: Getting Started and Building a Successful Public Sector Practice.
Getting Started is a 45-minute interactive experience that includes prescriptive guidance on APN requirements, tools, resources, public sector programs, and more to make sure AWS Partners have a successful start to the APN Partner journey. This track is intended for business leads responsible for growing their AWS practice by helping them understand the progression through the APN and tools to accelerate their growth.
Building a Successful Public Sector Practice consists of three interactive modules that are two hours each.
