The economic impact of the AWS Region in Switzerland

AWS released an Economic Impact Study that details how the AWS Europe (Zurich) Region will support Switzerland’s economy. It provides an overview of existing and planned AWS infrastructure investments in Switzerland, and the economic benefits AWS investments create for the Swiss economy. The study estimates that AWS’s spending on the construction and operation of the Region will support an average of more than 2,500 full-time jobs annually at external businesses, with a planned investment of 5.9 billion Swiss francs (approx. $5.9 billion) through 2036.
