Linghui Gong is VP of Engineering at Strikingly, Inc., a fast-growing superstar SaaS startup (backed by Y Combinator). Its business is expanding globally, providing website building & hosting products and custom services in 7 languages to users in over 200 countries and territories. Its localized product SXL is the largest platform that helps users publish their own WeChat mini-programs in China, and one of the top players in the WeChat ecosystem.
Linghui was one of the early AWS users in China. He has been leading his team to drive all critical architecture evolutions on AWS, which helped grow the Strikingly SaaS business exponentially. Linghui and his team have rich experience in a wide range of AWS products, and with these products, they were able to build a cross-region website cluster which serves millions of sites worldwide, as well as provide an in-house analytics system to help users understand their business better.
Linghui introduced how they built the cross-region website cluster on AWS at AWS re:Invent 2018. He has also presented AWS best practices twice at AWS Summit Beijing, as well as at many other AWS events.
