Discovery Channel's Broadcast Workflows and Channel Origination

Michael Raposa with AWS, Brinton Miller, Sr. VP Technology Strategy and Architecture with Discovery Communications and Dan Turow, VP of File Based Solutions with Evertz will walk through how Discovery Communications migrated its broadcast playout, which supports hundreds of channels worldwide, and their channel origination to AWS. They will show how Discovery has not only reduced their TCO but has also improved their agility by launching new channels on demand. They will also share how channel origination is being deployed in a secure, automated fashion, and with a level of high availability that exceeds what is possible in a traditional data center.
