December 2012 – Amazon Redshift, lower prices for Amazon S3, additions to AWS regions and catching up on AWS re: Invent

Our first global customer and partner conference, AWS re: Invent, has come and gone. With 6000 of you from 62 countries in attendance, the energy and excitement was amazing. Thank you. You can catch up with the keynotes, sessions, attendee interviews and slide decks at the AWS YouTube channel and Slideshare. Amidst the conference fervor, we introduced Amazon Redshift and announced our 24th AWS price reduction with Amazon S3 standard storage and RRS. We expanded features and support across Amazon Glacier, ElastiCache, RDS, and VPC, to name a few, and made additions to the Singapore, Sao Paolo and GovCloud regions. We're ringing in the New Year with a fresh calendar of webinars and training events. And mark your calendar for the Global Start-up Challenge Finale Celebration in January.
