WebFOCUS Business User Edition 8.2 is a completely browser-based self-service analytics and reporting solution for workgroups of up to 100 people.

It includes InfoAssist+, the business user tool for analytics, reporting, in-document analytics, and dashboarding; a dynamic, multi-user interface that allows for managing content, collaboration, and describing personal web pages; a limited-use license of the WebFOCUS information distribution engine; and an application-license version of the Hyperstage analytical sandbox.

WebFOCUS Business User Edition is sophisticated and flexible because it is based on the WebFOCUS enterprise grade BI and analytics platform. Critical capabilities for successful adoption and value include server-based infrastructure to manage the resource needs for multiple users, a group and role-based security model to manage access and content delivery for a range of user types, data governance and metadata management, and processes for managing content collaboration and distribution.
