Splunk recently announced the availability of Armv8 64-bit architecture support for the Splunk Universal Forwarder. This allows AWS Graviton2 customers with Linux workloads to collect and forward machine data to their Splunk environment. Follow a step-by-step guide to set up a Universal Forwarder on a Graviton2 instance running Linux, and learn how to configure the instance and the Universal Forwarder to forward data to Splunk Cloud.

We are excited to launch APIs for the AWS Well-Architected Tool that allow AWS Partners to extend Well-Architected functionality, best practices, measurements, and learnings into their existing architecture governance processes, applications, and workflows. By building custom integrations with the AWS Well-Architected Tool, partners can support a broad range of use cases to make it easier for customers to adopt Well-Architected best practices.

While AWS Outposts enables customers to easily scale their on-premises applications using AWS services and tools, integrating with customer-owned, third-party solutions for storage, security, analytics, and DevOps is important to ensuring positive customer outcomes. Earlier this year, we launched the AWS Outposts Ready Program with 35 solution offerings across 32 AWS Technology Partners. Since then, enthusiasm for the program has only grown with partners and customers alike.

Customers are always looking for new ways to improve operational efficiency and the security posture of applications running in their virtual private clouds (VPCs). Amazon Route 53 recently launched a Resolver Query Logs capability which lets customers log the DNS queries originating in their Amazon VPC. Follow along with our step-by-step instructions for logging VPC DNS queries in Amazon Route 53, ingesting them into Splunk, and then analyzing them with Splunk.

Bottlerocket is an open source Linux-based OS purpose-built for hosting containers, and APN Partners and AWS customers can quickly get up and running with Bottlerocket.
