By popular demand, I am producing this “micro” version of the AWS Week in Review. I have included all of our announcements, content from all of our blogs, and as much community-generated AWS content as I had time for. Going forward I hope to bring back the other sections, as soon as I get my tooling and automation into better shape.

Monday February 20	We announced that Amazon Athena supports querying AVRO data, is available in the US East (Ohio) region and integrates with Looker. We announced that AWS Marketplace Self-Service Listings Now Lets Software Vendors Edit Existing Products. We announced that Amazon CloudWatch Now Supports Alarms on Dashboards. The AWS Database Blog provided advice on Choosing the Right DynamoDB Partition Key. N2WS asked – Hey Cloud Developer – Are You Using Amazon Lightsail Yet?
Tuesday February 21	The AWS Big Data Blog talked about Scheduled Refresh for SPICE Data Sets on Amazon QuickSight. The AWS Database Blog showed you how to Set Access Control for Amazon Elasticsearch Service. The AWS Government, Education, & Nonprofits Blog discussed the Future of the Family History Industry. 1Strategy wrote about Securely Connecting to Your AWS Environment Using OpenVPN Access Server. Stelligent discussed Docker Swarm Mode on AWS. Flux7 talked about how AWS Developer Tools Provide Continuous Deployment to Amazon ECS.
Wednesday February 22	We launched the Lumberyard 1.8 Beta with the Cloud Gems Framework. We announced that AWS Lambda Now Provides Enhanced Visibility into Stream-based Processing Operations. The AWS Government, Education, & Nonprofits Blog invited you to Learn the Five Imperatives for a Smart City at the Future Citizen Innovation Series. The AWS Partner Network Blog provided a Recap of Healthcare and Life Sciences Week on the APN Blog. The AWS Security Blog showed you how to Easily Replace or Attach an IAM Role to an Existing EC2 Instance by Using the EC2 Console. The AWS Security Blog showed you how to Audit Your AWS Resources for Security Compliance by Using Custom AWS Configuration Rules. A Cloud Guru showed you how to Create Your Own Static Website with a Custom URL Using AWS.
Thursday February 23	We launched I3 Instances for Demanding, I/O Intensive Applications. We launched Custom Platform Support for Elastic Beanstalk. We announced that AWS Directory Service for Microsoft Active Directory (Enterprise Edition) is now available in the EU (London) Region. The AWS Government, Education, & Nonprofits Blog talked about Reimaging Course Delivery with Amazon WorkSpaces. The AWS Partner Network Blog provided a Recap of the First AWS Partner Summit – Canada. The AWS Security Blog announced that s2n Is Now Handling 100% of SSL Traffic for Amazon S3.
Friday February 24	We announced an Edge Location for Amazon CloudFront in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We published new AWS customer success stores from Allergan, Atlassian, BidMotion, Blackboard, Cadreon, Careem, and Peter.
Saturday February 25	TriNimbus talked about How I Fell in Love with AWS.
