As part of this transformation, WonderLend Hubs rebuilt IncentiHub and InCrediHub—its core solutions for incentive management and loan origination & assessment —into cloud-native platforms. Today, the firm supports over 5 million agents, processes up to 15 million transactions in a single day, and delivers secure, uninterrupted service to financial institutions in highly regulated markets.

Opportunity | Ensuring platform reliability while meeting global compliance needs
Through its pioneering managed service model, WonderLend Hubs supports customers across India, Asia, and the Middle East with two flagship products: IncentiHub, which drives profitable growth through incentive management, and InCrediHub, which streamlines loan journeys and credit decisions using both conventional and alternative data.
To meet rising transaction volumes and diverse use cases, the company needed to move beyond its original single-tenant architecture. Ram Ramdas, co-founder and chief evangelist, explains, “Our customers range from small organizations with a few thousand agents to large insurers with more than 200,000 agents and millions of transactions. There’s a lot of variability in usage and volume, and we need a scalable architecture that can manage it all.”
Reliability is equally critical, as is regulatory compliance. “There are complex data flows and integrations, and if there’s a failure at any point, it directly impacts customer outcomes and our service-level agreements,” says Ramdas. “And most of our clients are in banking and financial services and process sensitive data, so compliance is not a luxury—it’s a necessity.”
Solution | Building a serverless architecture with Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL
WonderLend Hubs has been using AWS since 2014. To modernize IncentiHub and InCrediHub, the company transitioned to a domain-driven platform-as-a-service model tailored to the needs of financial services institutions. “We consider ourselves the pioneers of managed service delivery in this space, and AWS helps us innovate by removing the friction of infrastructure management and sizing so we can focus on delivering the desired outcomes for our clients,” says Ramdas.
The team rearchitected its offerings using a fully managed, serverless architecture to support multi-tenant deployment, rapid rollout, and near real-time responsiveness. Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL serves as the core transactional database for both platforms, while Amazon DynamoDB supports nonrelational data workloads. Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) stores documents and files, ensuring secure, scalable access to business-critical data.
To eliminate infrastructure overhead and support distributed compute needs, WonderLend Hubs uses AWS Lambda and AWS Fargate. The company coordinates microservices and business workflows using Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon SQS) and Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS), and secures identity and access management with Amazon Cognito. It also monitors performance and governance using AWS Security Hub, AWS CloudTrail, and Amazon CloudWatch.
Outcome | Delivering 15 million business-critical transactions a day
WonderLend Hubs processes over 50 million computations and delivers about $750 million in annual payouts on IncentiHub. On InCrediHub, it manages nearly 500,000 loan applications monthly, totaling around $1 billion in value, and supports more than 5 million agents. “One of our customers, a microfinance institution in India, handles a high volume of small-ticket loans. Around the 15th of each month, their transaction volume spikes to roughly 15 million,” says Ramdas. “Our platforms on AWS scale effortlessly to ingest that volume and apply complex incentive rules for a large field force.”
AWS also delivers the reliability and compliance customers require. “Whether it’s IncentiHub or InCrediHub, if our platform stops, our customers’ business stops,” says Ramdas. With many alternatives in the market, downtime could mean losing customers, but AWS helps ensure always-on performance. “Our customers are in highly regulated industries, and they’re confident that their global compliance needs are met because we’re running on AWS,” Ramdas adds.
IncentiHub and InCrediHub are central to WonderLend Hubs’s mission to drive GrowthOps—helping Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) enterprises streamline processes and scale efficiently. “Without AWS, we hardly could have imagined offering these kinds of solutions,” says Ramdas. Looking ahead, the company is expanding across India, Asia, and the Middle East and exploring generative AI on AWS for greater automation. “We rely on AWS to deliver our services seamlessly, and we look forward to building further on AWS to support growth.”
